I love freshly fallen snow in the country - there's so much of it and so pristine! When I first moved up to this neck of the woods, I was so entralled by nature and marveled at every season.
Well, I spent most of my life on the Isle of Manhattan and the closest thing to nature is the landscaped Central Park and sad, tired trees growing out of concrete. Winter there consist of dirty slush and a constant damp chill -- btw -- there's only two seasons in NYC -- winter and summer.
This marvelling of winter even crept into my art work: this painting on the is called Snow on the Creekbank.
